Father-of-one Damian Gordon, 30, was blasted in the chest twice with a 9mm handgun before staggering outside to die on the pavement outside Club Icon in Bradford city centre.
West Yorkshire Police said a 26-year-old man was arrested in Huddersfield on Monday, while a 32-year-old man was arrested in Manchester on Tuesday.
Police said there had been previous "incidents" between Mr Gordon, also known as Mikey, from Bradford, and other clubbers from Manchester in the weeks and months before he was shot dead in the early hours of August 3.
The event at the club had been organised and attended mainly by people from Manchester.
On Tuesday, the victim's wife, Brenda Gordon, sobbed as she begged for information. The couple had a son, Colbey, four.
"We are frozen in timelessness until someone comes forward and names the person who killed Damian.
"If any one of the wives or girlfriends or anyone out there knows anything, please contact the police.
"I don't want any other family to suffer like my family have."
