Maria Chandler, of Lancaster Road, Great Yarmouth, will appear in custody at the town's magistrates court on Monday, Norfolk police said.
Detectives said earlier that they had found the body of Simon Everitt, of Great Yarmouth, who vanished on June 7. Police said his remains were found at nearby Mautby.
The discovery came after specialists spent more than a day searching a field and woodland.
"I am as satisfied as I can be at this stage that the body we have located in Mautby is that of Simon Everitt," said Detective Chief Inspector Steve Strong, who is heading the inquiry,
Police have not revealed how Simon died but said post-mortem tests would be carried out.
A 40-year-old woman had been questioned about Simon's disappearance after being arrested earlier this week.
Two men aged 24 and 19 have also been arrested and released on bail without charge pending further investigation.
Ten days ago police said they had information which led them to believe that Simon had been murdered. A spokesman said officers launched a major inquiry following a call from a member of the public on June 15.
Chandler is charged with the murder of Simon in Mautby between June 6 and June 28.
