The 17-year-old, who will appear at Balham Youth Court, has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Magda Pniewska, 26, died after she was caught in crossfire as she took a short-cut through a car park close to New Cross Gate railway station, south-east London.
Ms Pniewska, 26, was reportedly on the phone to her sister Elzbirta in Poland when she was gunned down near the nursing home where she worked.
She was said to be saying how happy she was and how she planned to go home for Christmas when shots rang out.
Police found Ms Pniewska bleeding from her head outside the Stunell House block of flats.
She was taken by ambulance to King's College Hospital, but died just over an hour later.
A second man arrested in connection with Ms Pniewska's murder was released on bail and will report back to police later this month.
Three other men and a woman were also previously arrested in connection with the inquiry.
One of the men was later bailed to return pending further inquiries and the other three people were released with no further action.
