Youths in court over Kodjo murder

Three youths charged with the murder of schoolboy Kodjo Yenga are appearing in court.

A total of seven people have now been charged in connection with the 16-year-old's death.

The youths, one aged 14 and two aged 13, will appear at West London Youth Court.

They are accused of murdering Kodjo, of Portland Road, west London, in Hammersmith Grove on March 14 this year.

Four other teenagers, two aged 13, one aged 15 and a fourth aged 16, appeared in court on March 17 and were remanded in custody to re-appear on May 17.

Another 15-year-old boy has been charged with intimidation of a witness and is also in custody.

Kodjo died from a single stab wound to the heart after allegedly being "ambushed" while walking with his girlfriend.
