Into the O-zone with Claire Bullock
20 February 2012
The Evening Standard speaks to Claire Bullock...
Claire Bullock
Meetings and events manager at Lord's Cricket Ground, 30, lives in Epsom, Surrey
Love it or loathe it? I love it - it's an exciting time for London and a great way to raise the profile of the city.
Been site-seeing? Yes, I visited the Olympic Park last year.
Olympics ker-ching? Lord's is hosting the archery so we will not have any other events during the Games period, my focus will be on what's happening after the Games. It is great that we are the home of cricket and now the home of Olympic archery too.
Game plan? I would love to have gone to see something but wasn't lucky in the ticket ballot. Instead I will just enjoy the Games atmosphere on my commute to work. I will definitely be watching the athletics on TV.
Good for London? Yes - the Olympics legacy will be a welcome boost to the economy, generating not only tourism income for London but also putting our city in the minds of the meetings and events industry.
