Gordon Ramsay launches his first pub

This is London
27 Mar 2007

Dining out at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant doesn't come cheap but sampling his wares just got a lot more affordable with the launch of his first pub, The Narrow, in Limehouse, East London.

Located in a Grade II-listed building, The Narrow features a ground floor bar and dining room, first floor private dining room and views over the Thames.

Mark Sargeant, Executive Chef of Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's, has had a hand in developing the menu, which focuses on British dishes based around seasonal ingredients.

À la carte main meals cost around £15 but bar snacks are also available, including a half-pint of Atlantic prawns, potted Cromer crab with granary toast, traditional Ploughman's lunch and cheese on toast (a snip at just £2.50).

The bar also serves a wide range of British beers, selected draught bitters and a good choice of cocktails.

The Narrow, 44 Narrow Street, E14. For reservations, call 0207 592 7950 or email thenarrow@gordonramsay.com. For Private Dining reservations call 0207 592 7951 or email pubevents@gordonramsay.com
