Where to eat on Brewer Street

Charles Campion picks three of the best restaurants on Brewer Street.

Kulu Kulu 2
6 Brewer Street, W1
A small, neat, and very Japanese conveyor belt sushi house: the fish is fresh and the prices are forgiving. A good option that manages to combine cheap, cheerful and sophisticated. £12pp ex-drinks. (020 7734 7316).

Topo Gigio
46 Brewer Street, W1
Traditional trattoria offering all those Italian favourites including pasta and oldfashioned courtesy. Somewhere that hasn't changed its attitude for several decades. £20pp ex-drinks. (020 7734 5931).

Maoz
4 Brewer Street, W1
Cheap pitstop specialising in falafel - those small and crunchy balls of chick peas relished all over the Middle East. A sound vegetarian option, but you do need a confident digestion. £6pp ex-drinks. (020 7734 9414).
