The Loft in Dalston is a supper club run by ex-El Bulli chef Nuno Mendes. He uses it as his personal test kitchen for his next restaurant, due to open 2010. He hosts tasting events every Friday and Saturday. The Pale Blue Door in Hackney is a sexy theatrical eaterie with cross-dressing staff, art installations and tarot readings.
