Where to drink at Halloween

Splash out on a spooky mask this Saturday as ghosts, vampires and witches descend on some of London's haunted bars.

The Old Queens Head (44 Essex Road, N1, 020 7354 9993) hosts a Halloween Zombie Ball you can sink your teeth into a Zombie Iced Tea or a Blood Transfusion (£7.50).

Trader Vic's (22 Park Lane, W1, 020 7208 4113) has Hot Buttered Rum (£7) in skull-shaped mugs, made using its 35-year-old recipe — a concoction of butter, rum and spices.

Over in Shoreditch, The Hoxton Pony (104-108 Curtain Road, EC, 020 7739 9608) is hosting a Heaven and Hell night that includes Halloween Blood Punch (£8), with blood-orange juice and Toz rum, while in the West End, Piccadilly's Graphic Bar (4 Golden Square, W1, 020 7287 9241) will be giving free Zombie shots to anyone arriving in fancy dress.
