But it seems fate has not granted Faye Dunaway a handshake to match her timeless smile.
Although the 66-year-old actress looked ravishing at the British Comedy Awards on Wednesday night, the veins and sinews on her hands ultimately betrayed her age.

Dressed in an elegant trouser suit framed by a flowing mane of shining blonde hair, she appeared hardly much older than when she starred in Bonnie And Clyde in 1967.
It is possible, of course, that she has discovered the secret of eternal youth.
But given the Hollywood fashion for cosmetic surgery, she would be the exception if she hadn't opted for the odd nip and tuck.

So vein: Faye revealed her very veiny hands at the British Comedy Awards
Last year, it was claimed she invested in a full set of flawless dental veneers to complete the look.
Twice-married Miss Dunaway had previously complained about the state of her teeth and five years ago even contemplated getting braces.
Miss Dunaway, who won a best actress Oscar for the 1976 movie Network, has been filming in the UK, playing a one-armed detective in Flick.
She agreed to work for a fraction of her usual £1million fee after falling in love with the script.
