Amy Winehouse has cancelled all upcoming appearances in the US, including a scheduled performance at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
The troubled star, who fled to the Carribean with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil earlier this week, will skip the Las Vegas event, according to her American label Universal Republic Records.
A statement released by the company read: "In a continued effort to support Amy Winehouse's wellbeing, in addition to the postponement of her US tour, all other US appearances have been cancelled."

Amy sent her father a text message from her Caribbean holiday with her husband Blake, saying she was 'right as rain'
Meanwhile, a the remorseful star has told her distraught father she was sorry after he told how he wanted to kill himself because of her drug addiction.
They escaped to St Lucia after shocking pictures emerged last week of the pair bloodied and bruised after a drug-fuelled street brawl.
Miss Winehouse's father Mitch tearfully told yesterday how he was "sickened and wanted to die" at the images of his daughter with blood seeping through her shoes from heroin jabs between her toes.

Amy's father, Mitch Winehouse told Radio 1 he had received an apologetic text from daughter Amy
Mr Winehouse, a 56-year-old taxi driver, told BBC Radio One: "It was great to hear from her and she seems to be doing okay there - but then again, we are not there so we do not know what is going on.
"I would just ask everyone who has sent me their good wishes to pray for her, as I do. I go to my father's grave and I pray.
"Unless you sit on someone and tie them up and handcuff them - which you obviously cannot do - you have to sit back and let things take their course. That is all I can do."
Despite his plea for understanding, a war of words has erupted between Miss Winehouse's family and her in-laws, Giles and Georgette Civil.
Mr Winehouse was said to be furious after the Civils told BBC Radio 5 Live that the music-buying public should boycott her albums and refuse to give her awards as a harsh lesson.
The cabbie hit back by criticising the Civils for failing to attend meetings with drug counsellors and doctors treating their children, instead deciding to take them to the pub on their first day out of rehab.

The row escalated with Mrs Civil, 50, saying from her home in Claypole, Newark: "All Mitch is doing is trying to score points. He is being a bully and should be focussing on the children.
"We were aware of a meeting (with doctors) but did not think we were doing anything wrong by going to the pub."
Meanwhile Miss Winehouse and her 25-year-old husband were sunning themselves in their paradise island resort, apparently oblivious to the furore.

Televisions, radios and telephones are banned from the £800-a-night deluxe hotel, which clings to a mountainside boasting private swimming pools in each suite and stunning views of the Caribbean sea.
The couple have been locked in intense discussions for most of their stay and only appear to have indulged in the island's speciality fruit punch.

A fellow holidaymaker said: "There has been little of the larking about you would normally expect on a Caribbean break.
"Instead they seem absorbed in their own world and have been having serious heart-to-hearts in the shade, only breaking off to wander down to the beach for a dip in the sea.
"They have also been kissing passionately without a care who sees them, which has been quite embarrassing as it is so public."

These are the pictures that made Amy's father, Mitch, want 'to die'
Miss Winehouse was hospitalised earlier this month after reportedly taking an overdose of heroin and ketamine.
She has twice been admitted to rehab with her husband but refused to stay more than a few days on each occasion - to the despair of their parents.
