Amy Winehouse rushes to visit jailed husband after he threatens divorce

Amy Winehouse dashed to visit jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil today amid claims he's threatening to divorce the troubled star.

Blake, who is currently on remand in Pentonville prison for alleged assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, is having second thoughts about their marriage, according to her father.

Amy's father Mitch Winehouse claims Blake was ready to call their marriage off after a recent blazing row.

He told Grazia magazine: "Blake threatened to issue divorce proceedings when they were having a row."

Mitch believes Blake's mother Georgette Civil is encouraging him to cut the troubled star out of his life.

He continued: "Unfortunately, Blake is influenced by things his mother has said. I think Georgette wants them to divorce, but it's up to them."

But the singer, who arrived at the prison this afternoon, is desperate to keep her relationship in tact.

Mitch said: "[Blake] has said things like, 'I want a divorce'. But from Amy's point of view, she would stick by him no matter what."

A friend of the pair says the relationship is at breaking point: "The Blake and Amy situation is imploding. Blake has been listening to his mother, and he's been hot and cold with Amy when they do meet."

Last week, Blake was said to be furious that his wife spent the night hanging out with her handsome record producer pal Mark Ronson.

However, it appears he had little cause for concern. A spokesman for the singer denied any romance, and said: "Mark was in London this week so Amy jumped at the chance to work with him again.

"The only sweet music they were making was in the recording studio."

Meanwhile Amy Winehouse caused a stir on a visit to a newsagents today. Amy got into a scuffle with a photographer when he failed to apologise to a passer-by after nearly knocking a pram over.

The police were called and escorted the singer back to her car.
