For he has been pictured with yet another beauty, this time coming out of a London cinema.

Man about town: Hamilton and female companion on Tuesday

The 22-year-old racing driver looked startled when photographers snapped him leaving the Odeon in Marble Arch with an oriental-looking lady with blonde hair on Tuesday night.

Staff at the cinema said they had been to see the 7pm showing of The Bourne Ultimatum and were joined by a larger man - perhaps a bodyguard - who sat near them during the film. For the record, they bought popcorn, fizzy drinks and Maltesers.

Onlookers said they appeared "very comfortable in each other's company - they were laughing and joking and mucking around".

The photographers who took the pictures added that they left the cinema "looking like a couple", yet once they realised they had been spotted they turned around and tried to walk back in among the crowds.

They eventually emerged with Hamilton looking rather sheepish with the young lady walking a few paces behind.

Intriguingly, a spokesman for Hamilton had a different version, saying: "Lewis says he went to the cinema with a group of friends.

"He says he was not just with the girl in the picture, and that in fact she is the fiancee of one of his best friends."

Lewis with ex-girlfriend Jodia Ma

It is understood that Hamilton had been staying at a hotel on nearby Park Lane before jetting off to Turkey for a Grand Prix fixture.

News of him being photographed with yet another pretty girl may not please Jodia Ma, the Hong Kong restaurateur he recently parted company with.

Miss Ma is still said to be devastated after Lewis was pictured two weeks ago on the French Riviera with Sara Ojjeh, the glamorous daughter of Mansour Ojjeh, an executive for McLaren sponsor Tag Heuer.

Hamilton spent a fortnight with the Ojjeh family on their 235ft yacht off St Tropez.
