Apprentice Simon Ambrose's new vocation? Partying with blondes

But it turns out he's just as keen on play.

The 27-year-old was spotted partying up a storm at London hotspot Collections surrounded by a bevy of blondes, including TV presenter Zoe French.

Simon has had an on-off relationship with an unnamed singer for the past three years, but he looked every bit a bachelor during his recent night out.

He revealed in June: "It's not easy having a long-distance relationship.

"She's a great girl and I love her to pieces but she lives so far away. That's not a situation that's likely to change in the near future, sadly."

Ambrose stole a controversial victory off hot favourite Kristina Grimes in the popular show.

He said at the time: "To get to the final was a dream come true. Winning is the cherry on the cake.

"I'm over the moon. I can't believe it. I'm still struggling to take it in.

The ex-public schoolboy said he planned to splash out on a luxury Aston Martin sports car after landing the £100,000 job.

He is now training as a chartered surveyor ahead of beginning work on a £70 million hotel and golf course development.
