Brand Beckham is branching out into new 'his and hers' bottles of perfume.

The celebrity pair have put their name to Intimately Beckham fragrances which hit stores later this month.

Packaged in chunky glass cubes, the women's scent is coloured pink while the men's version is golden brown.

They are made by the perfume house Coty, which created fragrances for Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion and Sarah Jessica Parker.

The scents follow the pre-Christmas launch of David Beckham's first eau de toilette for men, called Instinct.

Like their predecessor, the new perfumes bear the "DVB" logo which, according to the Beckham Fragrances website, was: "Cleverly designed to incorporate his initials".

The high street chain Superdrug which exclusively launched the Instinct fragrance, plans to open early for the Beckham perfume launch on August 21.

Superdrug fragrance buyer Tim Hughes said: "Our suppliers tell us that Victoria has been involved with every step of the development of her first perfume.

"She has chosen the packaging and worked with some of the world's best 'noses' to identify the perfect eau de Beckham.

"Developing a fragrance is an intensely personal journey and Victoria's has all the hallmarks of her very distinctive style."

The chain sold more than 2,000 bottles of David Beckham Instinct the first day it went on sale. It is gearing up for "huge" customer demand for the new fragrances.

Intimately Beckham will be priced at around £19.45 for a 30ml eau de toilette spray and £25.95 for the 50ml version, Superdrug said.

This perfume is gorgeous, the best perfume I have tried for a long time - it actually stays on for a long time, and it smells fresh, summery and gorgeous.
