The Big Brother final will be a two-horse race between Pete and Aisleyne, according to the bookies.

Tourette's sufferer Pete has long been favourite to win. But the past 24 hours have seen punters pile money on Aisleyne. Her odds have been slashed to 3/1.

William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: "The last 24 hours have seen a huge weight of money for Aisleyne, forcing us to cut the price.

"The money coming in for Aisleyne has been the small stake variety but we have had literally thousands of £5 and £10 wagers reported in shops nationwide."

Ladbrokes have also cut her odds to 3/1. Spokesman Nick Weinberg said: "Aisleyne's challenge is gathering momentum."

Pete remains odds-on favourite to win on Friday.

Pete's a pain: all we've had is repetitive behaviour throughout BB (and he's more cunning than most people can see); Nikki's dreadful: not even worth elaborating on; Glynn's okay but nothing spectacular; Richard is better than these three but Aisleyne's the one who gets my vote.
