Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he had to kiss his on-screen girlfriend thirty times for his latest movie.

The 17-year-old said he and co-star Katie Leung were determined to perfect their first love scene together.

He said: "We probably got it on the 30th take. My god it was fun. Me and Katie - we were awkward and nervous at first but once we got it, it was fine."

And Katie, who plays Cho Chang in Order of the Phoenix, said Daniel's kissing was magic.

She said: "Daniel is a really good kisser. I really enjoyed it. He's energetic and makes you feel relaxed.

"He talks all the time and tells you not to be nervous. It's great working with him."

Producer David Yates told The Sun that the crew even gathered round the stars to watch the kiss.

"We did many, many , many takes and it's very tender and loving, as the first kiss should be."

Fans will be able to see the kiss when the film - the fifth in the series - is released next July.
