Shopaholic Coleen McLoughlin says hard-up teenage girls who spend a fortune copying her style should 'get a grip'.

Wayne Rooney's girlfriend, now a millionaire in her own right, urged the wannabes to stop overspending in their bid to live like footballers' wives and girlfriends (WAGs).

In the early months of her fame, the 20-year-old gained a reputation for spending thousands of pounds of her boyfriend's money. But now she says young women must stop getting into debt.

In her weekly column in Closer magazine, she said: 'Apparently more and more young women are getting into debt because they try to shop and party like a footballer's wife. If I heard of anyone doing that I'd tell them to get a grip.'

She told followers they could emulate her look at little cost. 'There's so much great stuff on the high street - you can look amazing on a budget,' she added.
