Giving it some welly: Kate dons wellingtons and a grey cardigan for the rescue mission with friends in the Oxfordshire countryside
Supermodel Kate Moss is more often seen at parties in a slinky designer frock.
But yesterday she dropped her usual glacial poise and donned knee-length wellington boots to help push a friend's Mercedes which had become stuck in mud.
Windswept Kate, dressed in close-fitting blue jeans and a baggy grey cardigan, was at her home in the Cotswold hamlet of Little Faringdon, Oxfordshire.
The 33-year-old model spent more than half an hour struggling with friends to free the C Class coupe from a muddy field behind the house.
An onlooker said: "They were really straining to move the car but Kate pitched in with the rest of them."
Kate bought the sprawling 17th Century stone house in 20 acres for £2million in 2004.
