Mystery surrounds Jade's vandals claim
Updated 15:16pm on 23 Jan 2007Confusion today surrounded a claim by Jade Goody that police were guarding her home after it had been attacked by vandals.
The 25-year-old, voted out of the Celebrity Big Brother house amid accusations of racism on Friday, claimed windows had been smashed at her £300,000 Essex pad.

She said officers had been called in to investigate because she feared for her safety.
Jade made the claims today on Channel 5 show The Wright Stuff, the latest in a string of tearful TV appearances.
It was also reported that her mum Jackiey, 48, had fled her south London home after vandals threw bricks at it.
But today Essex police said they had not been called in, and denied they were guarding Jade's house.
They said one window had been broken, but this had been spotted by officers on a routine patrol and was not being treated as a suspicious incident at this stage.
A police spokesman said only one pane of a double glazed unit had been broken and added: "It wouldn't appear to be a determined effort. We are waiting to talk to a neighbour to see if it has always been like this."
Speaking on TV today, Jade said: "I went home this morning to get a change of clothes and my house windows had been smashed." She added that police were "sitting outside".
Jade also said she had been too ashamed to see her two children since being evicted.

Let's all ignore the attention seeking little brat and then perhaps she will slip back into the obscure little world she came from and we can be rid of something that is certainly not worth looking up to. The media is saying that her career is going down the pan. What career? What has she done? Oh and please please do not make a celebrity of her mother either, that would be even worse, if not downright criminal.

Jade's actions in the Big Brother house were appalling, but by the way people are reacting, anyone would think she had started a hollocaust.
I think she should stay out of the public eye from now on if she really is sorry and cares as much about her children as she claims. These television appearances are just opening her up to further attack. She is clearly sorry and very upset. Her wealth should allow her to live the rest of her life in comfort and in private.

'I HATE LIARS AND FAKES' was Jade's SCREECHING mantra throughout her pitbull attack on Shilpa. Never before has the adage 'he doth protest too much' been so true!
When Jermaine implied that his song 'The Man in the Mirror' was written for people like Jade and her family, I don't think he knew just how much!

I just wish she'd go away.
Her tears have not been out of remorse for the fact she bullied and insulted Shilpa, but because she's terrified she's ruined her career. Her PR and spin people have gone into overdrive trying to repair her image and get us all to feel sorry for her - I just hope the British public are wise enough not to fall for it.

Jade is just trying to get the sympathy vote and make people feel sorry for her. I doubt this will work, though. The only reason she is upset is that by now she will have realised that her career is going down the drain. I suppose the real reason she hasn't seen her children is that she has been far too busy appearing on TV shows!

Her other big lie was to drag Jermaine into this mess - making out Jermaine called her 'white trash'- there is a full transcript of the Jermaine's comments and his words have been taken out of context(video on Youtube). She would have been informed by BB what actually was said. But, typically, Jade's approach was to drag Jermaine into into the debate in order to excuse her behaviour and not take responsibility for her actions but rather looking for someone else to take some of blame.
