Flamboyant financier Andy Wong hosted his traditional Chinese New Year party among the waxworks at Madame Tussauds in Marylebone.

2007 is the year of the pig and some of the celebrity guests, no doubt mindful that they may be mistaken for their dummy counterparts, distinguished themselves by choosing an outrageous array of costumes.

Lord Freddie Windsor sported a garish green frock coat with ruff and cuffs while host Andy Wong wore one false eyelash.

Leading the fashion crime stakes was Nicky Haslam who arrived wearing fishnet stockings, black boots and a leather black jockstrap as he posed next to Martine McCutcheon.

Bryan Ferry, 61, turned up with his 26-year-old partner Katie Turner which is perhaps why his former lover Jerry Hall seemed more interested in her waxwork doppelg‰nger and draped herself over it.

Hall (wearing a red dress) was one of the few guests to be upstaged by her own dummy whose blue Chinese dress was perhaps much the most suitable choice of attire on display.
