Night owl: Sienna Miller was out clubbing until 5am after the Baftas

Look here too

Sienna Miller celebrated Bafta night by partying through to breakfast - proving there is definitely life after Jude Law.

The actress carried on clubbing until 5am, an impressive feat especially given she was not even up for an award.

Dame Helen crowned Queen of the Baftas

Miller, 25, had earlier insisted to fellow guests at the glittering film ceremony: "It's a Sunday night, I'm taking it easy - there's no hard partying for me tonight."

Yet 12 hours after her arrival on the red carpet, the Alfie star emerged blearyeyed after taking over Boujis nightclub with 40 friends.

It is a far cry from the Baftas two years ago, when Law - away filming in the US - reportedly sent a barrage of jealous texts to his thenfiancée demanding she call an end to her night out.

This year Sienna was determined to let her hair down properly, swapping the delicate vintage Ungaro dress and gold sandals she wore to present the best supporting actor gong for comfy knee-high boots and a snug leather bomber jacket.

Boujis bosses extended the club's licence to let Sienna drink on in the VIP area with friends including movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, Jimmy Cho o founde r Tamara Mellon, Kimberley Stewart and Calum Best.

Across town, best actress winner Dame Helen Mirren toasted her victory at a Miramax party on the 28th floor of the Hilton.

The 61-year-old star of The Queen, now hotly tipped to take an Academy Award for her role, managed to pilfer a souvenir from the night to accompany her Bafta trophy - a Warhol-style cushion featuring her face which Miramax bosses had specially made for the bash.

But she was circumspect about her Oscar chances.

"It's not about winning," she said. "I sometimes feel like a dog at the White City races - 'she's coming in at 25 to 1, the bitch is coming in, she's gonna win it'."

Meanwhile, it emerged that - contrary to reports - the Queen may have seen Mirren's performance of the monarch in crisis.

The film's producer Christine Langan revealed: "There's, shall we say, a fairly virulent rumour that she has and her private secretary has been on to [director] Stephen Frears to say, 'come and have some lunch'. But Stephen's too scared to go."

Who was the idiot at Bafta that let Sienna attend? Who was the other idiot at Boujis that let her in? Sienna is NOT an actress or VIP and never will be.

Thank God Sienna is back in London. Keep her there please. I am tired of seeing her face everywhere in LA.

- Ria, USA

Why should this surprise anyone? Sienna can't turn down any kind of party, especially not when there are plenty of high-powered men for her to cling to and try to get to finance her so-called 'career'. She'd better watch out; old Harvey Weinstein's going to drop her soon enough since he couldn't manage to push her and that trainwreck known as "Factory Girl" to Oscar glory. He'll have to find himself another vapid blond twit and hopefully Sienna will fade back into obscurity where she belongs.

And stay home, Sienna, your antics are beginning to pall.
