It's been a couple of months since David Beckham's Stateside transfer was announced, but Brand Posh and Becks appear to be no closer to finding a corporate headquarters for their assault on the US (sorry, in their search for a family home.)

Victoria Beckham was house hunting in Los Angeles again, armed with estate agents' details for palatial properties in some of the city's smartest neighbourhoods.

Among the properties she viewed was this white £1.7million villa in the neo-classical style with a pair of rampant lions gracing the entrance and palm trees in the front garden.

It has 12 rooms - with five bedrooms and five bathrooms - and, of course, a pool.

Her tour followed lunch at the Ivy, where she was met by the now ubiquitous scrum of photographers keen to record her every move in the run up to David joining LA Galaxy this summer.

She recently looked at a £7.5 million home that once belonged to Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans and a villa in the gated complex where Britney Spears has a home. Victoria keeps David up to date on her latest viewings by sending him photographs of the properties on her mobile phone.

But despite calling LA's top real estate agents with requests for properties in the £7 million bracket she apparently still hasn't found anything exactly to the couple's liking.
