Adele Silva looks a little "tired" as she finally called it a night after the Inside Soap Awards.

The Emmerdale star, who recently finished second in Hell's Kitchen, looked like she'd really thrown herself into the party spirit as she zonked out in the back of her car, which she shared with co-star Kelvin Fletcher.

Steady on: Adele looks a little worse for wear after the soap star's night out at Camden restaurant Gilgamesh

Adele went home empty-handed after her show Emmerdale lost out to rivals Coronation Street in the battle of the soaps, but she put on a bold front in her peephole-front Little White Dress.

The great and the good of the soap world were at the bash, held at Gilgamesh in Camden, where the Tointon sisters were the belles of the ball.

Sisters are doing it: Hollyoaks star Hannah Tointon, left , with sister Kara Tointon (Dawn Swann in EastEnders) who won the award for best-dressed female in soap

Kara, who plays Dawn in EastEnders, looked stunning in purple and won the best dressed award, but she will face stiff competition in the future from her younger sister, newcomer Hannah who plays Katy in Hollyoaks.

EastEnder Mohammed George, who plays Gus, was politely told by police to calm down his boisterous antics in the street after the bash.

He didn't get into any trouble though, and the officer was all smiles as he joked with the lads.

There were two awards for Emmerdale actors, including Best Young Actor for Eden Taylor-Draper (Belle Dingle), and the soap's Charlie Hardwick was awarded this year's Funniest Performance as Val Lambert.

But Coronation Street took the Best Soap crown, winning one of five gongs for the ITV soap, putting it on a par with rival soap EastEnders.

It is the first time Coronation Street has won the title at the Inside Soap awards in over a decade. Popular Coronation Street star Antony Cotton, who plays barman Sean Tully, won Best Actor.

"The race for Best Soap was neck and neck until voting closed, which just proves what an outstanding year it's been in soapland."
