Hell's Kitchen star Marco Pierre White is back with feisty wife Mati, according to reports.

The 45-year-old chef enjoyed a romantic meal with his long-suffering Spanish wife at his new restaurant, Marco, on Thursday night.

Second chance: Marco and wife Mati have agreed to get their marriage back on track

And now their famously on-off relationship is back on, and divorce proceedings have been put on ice indefinitely.

A source close to the housewives favourite Marco revealed: "It's back on and they're thrilled. Things are very feisty between them but they have put their differences aside and are trying very hard to make their relationship work once more.

"Marco is a very dedicated father to their three children, Luciano and Marco junior and daughter Mirabelle, and wants desperately for them to be one big happy family."

Mati filed for divorce at the beginning of the year, desperately wanting to end their tempestuous 15-year marriage, but it looks like she's had a change of heart.

The couple are trying to keep their reunion under wraps so Mati stayed away from the star-studded launch party for Marco, situated at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge Stadium. However, two nights later Marco took his blonde wife for a slap-up dinner there.

It's been far from a smooth marriage. In January Mati turned a table over on Marco and his shareholders before hurling a glass of wine at him in Frankie's, his Knightsbridge restaurant.

Last summer, diners at the chef's flagship St Jame's restaurant, Luciano, were left choking on their risotto when Mati stormed in one lunchtime and fired a waitress whom she accused of sleeping with her husband.

And in 2005, Marco spent the night in the cells after a violent row but Mati later withdrew the allegations that the fight turned physical.

However, despite the flashpoints in the past, each time the couple have had a reconciliation and their friends have dismissed the rows as mere tiffs between two passionate people.

"They seem like any other normal couple," said a source.

"They have their ups and downs but they love each other deeply." See the hottest showbiz pictures of the day

Lucky Mati, he's gorgeous.I have just read his autobiography and they sound very well suited.

I guess it takes a hell of a woman to deal with Marco. He's lovely though and definitely the best chef of tv. He's for real...are you listening Gordon, Jamie, Nigella?

Believe that and you will believe anything...
