But on this occasion, however, the only thing the fallen star noticed was missing was the keys to her house.

Amy, 24, today returned to the property she shared with locked-up husband Blake Fielder-Civil after moving out on Monday claiming it held “too many memories”.

However, never one to eschew drama, Amy decided the best way of getting inside would be to crawl under the courtyard gates.

So, with the waiting crowd of paparazzi who have become a daily feature of her life, she lay down on the wet pavement and wriggled through.

"Then she sat down on the ground with her back against the gate, lopped to one side, lay on her back and crawled underneath the gate.

"I was surprised she managed to get herself under there but she managed to get through.

"After that she dusted herself down, opened the gate to get a bag from her driver and went inside."

Primrose Hill partygirl: Sadie Frost's 6am arrival at Amy's home will do little to allay fears about the company she's keeping

Last week her UK tour was cancelled after a series of shambolic performances in which she slurred incoherently and stumbled round the stage.

On Sunday she wandered the streets barefoot in the early hours wearing just a bra and jeans.

The following day she was seen walking around outside without shoes, asking builders for cigarettes.

Why can't this poor girl be left alone to sort out her problems? I think I would turn to drink and drugs if I were constantly being followed by the paps and had them camping on my doorstep.

Leave the poor girl alone - no wonder she can't get her act together when being tracked down like a dog.

I'm glad the papparazi are still following her at 4am - surely it's dangerous to wander around at that time?!
