'Obsessive'David Beckham reveals: 'I even have to hoover in straight lines'
Last updated at 14:10pm on 17.12.07David Beckham revealed the extent of his obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) on the last episode of Parkinson.
In the finale of the host's enduring chat show, the former England captain said: "In our house in Spain we used to have this big rug that when you hoovered it, you could do it in lines like Wembley.
"Victoria used to catch me after the kids had gone to bed doing the hoovering and it would all be in perfect lines."

David Beckham opened up about his OCD on Parky's final show
The former England captain also admits he shed a tear when he ended his run as skipper of the national team.
"I remember waking up that morning and I cried as I knew what I had to do.
"I went into the press conference cried all the way down to it, got through it and cried all the way back to the hotel.
"But I have had a great career on the England side."
Michael Parkinson ends his 26-year chat show career tonight with a two-hour programme featuring a host of celebrities.
Billy Connolly kicks off the finale by begging Parky: "Don't go, don't go," then adding mischievously, "it's the only TV I get. Nobody else will have me."

Hat's it: Parky on his last show
Parkinson, 72, wears a party hat for the show and says interviewing 2,000 people has been a "great joy".
At the end of the show, to be screened at 9pm on ITV1, he says: "Thanks to all of my guests and all of you at home for watching over the years."
Dame Edna Everage, David Beckham, Sir Michael Caine and Dame Judi Dench join the line-up.
And comedian Peter Kay gives Parky a lollipop lady's outfit for a part-time retirement job.
Sir Michael Caine, 74, says he retired at 65, but adds: "I've made about 30 films since then!"
Parkinson will spend the first year of his retirement writing his autobiography.

It's such a shame that they went and spoilt it by letting David Beckham waffle on for so much longer than anyone else, no one's care what happens in that tiny ill concieved brain of his.

We'll always remember when Parky was attacked by Emu and suffered a sense of humour failure. Much like the show when Stephen Fry was totally upstaged by Robin Williams - classic!

That just about sums it up. Billy Connolly's reputation has never recovered from the shameful time he mocked Ken Bigley who was murdered by terrorists. At least we can be grateful that now his mate Parky is finished, so is Connolly's TV career.
