Mel B wins custody feud with ex-husband to bring daughter on Spice Girls tour
Last updated at 23:18pm on 29.12.07Spice Girl Melanie Brown has won the right to bring her eldest daughter Phoenix Chi on tour with the girl group after her ex-husband tried to block her travel plans.
Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar, 40, sought to stop Scary Spice from taking their eight-year-old daughter on the Spice Girls' world tour, claiming it would disrupt his visitation schedule.
After the issue was brought before a Los Angeles court, Judge Robert Schnider ruled that Brown is fully entitled to bring the child with her.

Ex Factor: Pregnant Mel B with Jimmy Gulzar in happier times
Brown, 32, was awarded full custody of Phoenix after her bitter divorce from Gulzar in 2000, while the dancer was granted visitation rights.
The couple met in 1998 on the Spiceworld Tour and married in September of that year, while Brown was pregnant with Phoenix.
Phoenix was born in February 1999, but her parents decided to split by the end of the year.
Brown's latest legal battle with Gulzar is a contrast to her troubles with ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy - father of her youngest daughter Angel Iris.

Pregnant Brown and Murphy split in December 2006 after a six month relationship, when the Shrek star told a Dutch TV show: "I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test."
Since their split, the couple have been embroiled in a legal battle over Angel.
Murphy acknowledged he was the baby's father in June after a DNA test.
The couple are still resolving custody and child support issues in the California courts.
In June, Brown married film producer Stephen Belafonte after a whirlwind four month romance and the singer recently announced plans for the couple to have more children together.
