Kate hits the buffers - 34-hour party finishes after just 18
Last updated at 11:13am on 18.01.08The plan was to party for 34 hours, one for each year of her life.
But Kate Moss didn't even make it out of her teens.
By the 18-hour mark - 8am yesterday - she had hit the pillow at her new £8million home in St John's Wood, North London.
Pictured arriving there as the rest of the city was leaving for work, the supermodel showed the strain of her night of excess.
The fact Miss Moss made it that long is admirable.

Eye spy: Kate, leaving the Dorchester last night, opted for a playful look for her big night out
She had been going since at least 2.30pm on Wednesday at the Dorchester on Park Lane.
There, she had booked two top-floor suites for £2,500 each.
A friend said: "Kate was determined to go for it. She has been paranoid that everyone is saying she's too old and past it.
"She had already been knocking back the Dom Perignon by the time she left her house for the Dorchester."

Marathon: Rocker Jamie Hince arrived at Punk with a present for his girlfriend in tow; Kate's pals arrived at her home in the early hours of this morning armed with supplies
Miss Moss and some of her closest girl friends - Davinia Taylor, Meg Mathews, Fran Cutler and Kelly Osbourne - enjoyed cream teas and pink champagne.
At 8pm, they came downstairs for a meal at the hotel's China Tang restaurant with guests including Topshop boss Sir Philip Green.
The billionaire chose a curious jacket decorated with winged creatures for the occasion.

Guest list: Jools Holland and Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay arrived at Punk ready for fun

Invite only: rocker Ronnie Wood and snooker player Jimmy White were among the eclectic guest list
Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood was also there, wearing a policeman's hat with a pig's nose stuck on the front.
Miss Moss's boyfriend, Jamie Hince of pop group the Kills, arrived clutching an enormous present and two packets of cigarettes in one hand and an overnight bag in the other.
Afterwards, the party headed for the Punk Club in Soho.
But before they left, the birthday girl had crimped and curled her hair and painted a gold star over her right eye to enhance the whole glam theme - or perhaps to hide a few tired shadows.

Carry on partying: en route back to the Dorchester around 2am, Kate Moss was joined by her mother (left) and another companion
The friend said: "At the Dorchester, all the girls were very busy preening and titillating.
"They were circling round Kate telling her how amazing she looked. But if the truth is to be known, she looked quite knackered."
The group arrived at Punk around 10pm, where veteran Radio 1 DJ Annie Nightingale provided the music, and the girls hit the dancefloor to Kylie Minogue's version of The Locomotion.

Party people: The guest list included Meg Matthews and David Walliams at Punk

Bobby dazzled: Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie and wife Katy England
At 2.30am it was back to the Dorchester.
Room service was laid on with countless more bottles of Dom Perignon - adding to the eventual £37,000 bill.
The music blared and Miss Moss apparently did a karaoke stint before retiring to a couch for some girlie chat.
Shortly after sunrise she headed back to her new abode, keeping the suites open for a possible return.
The model is understood to have called it a night - or day - soon after.
The friend said: "Kate was quite sick when she went to bed. She's clearly not the party animal she once was."

Mouse White, most Western people's lifestyles could be 'trimmed' to feed starving people, obviously doesn't apply to you though since you cast the first stone.

Mouse White,
You sound like a right bundle of laughs...remind me to invite you to my party.
- John Entwistle, London
I agree with Steve. What awful role models.
- William Jenkins, London
£37,000. Imagine how many starving people that could feed.
She's a wretched girl.
- Mouse White, London, UK
Give the woman a break. Love the starry outfit!

Looks like they need a real wake up call. Send them to Afghanistan
for some real partying. What a British role model!

What a sad, sad story. I'm sure these people would be happier if they held their celebrations in private with their true friends and loved ones instead of courting maximum publicity and trying so hard to get their pictures in the papers by hanging-on to, what appears to be a very self-centred person. Jamie Hince has aged drastically since he started going out with Kate. I can't believe he's only 39. Pete Doherty is wise to be away from this scene.

So many jealous, catty comments from girls here. If only you lot looked half as good as Kate, eh?
Christian: those long winter evenings must fly by at your house...

She is so sad. She is 34 and still believes that heavy party and boozing is the epitome of life.
- Christian, Coventry
How does she stay awake all night?
- Matt, London
I love the fact that I'm three years older and have less wrinkles! Give up the cigarettes, love; it does nothing for your skin! You are going to look like Ronnie Wood in five years.

She should have spent an hour for each point of her IQ she'd have been in bed by tea time.

Go Kate! Refreshing to see some true A-list rock and roll behaviour...the perfect antidote to vulgar, idiotic WAG nuptials and Big Brother non-entities scratching each others' eyes out in the tabloids. I guess my invite must have got lost in the post...
- Mark, London
Desperately trying to cling to coolness and youth. Is it just me, or is it now a little sad?

She looks much better without the fringe.
- Doll, London
The flower guys look cute!
- Nik, Newbury
From the pics of her arriving to party looks like she has been partying all night already. The girl looks tired and not with it. Maybe it's not lack of sleep...

There goes the neighbourhood.

An awesome and ridiculous film that leaves you thrilled beyond the point of your natural endurance
