Comedian David Walliams towers over little Kylie at Style Awards

Updated 12:29pm on 13 Feb 2008

Even though Kylie Minogue took top honours at the Elle Style Awards, she was still overshadowed - by Little Britain star David Walliams.

The comedian towered over the 39-year-old pint-sized singer as they posed for pictures at the glamorous ceremony in London on Tuesday night.

With over a foot between them, the duo cut an odd figure, but 6ft 3 Walliams managed to lightened the mood with a joke that had Kylie in hysterics.

Voted woman of the year, Kylie looked stunning as she paraded her new blond bob in an olive green Grecian dress.

Ladies man Walliams,36, has been known to have a soft spot for Kylie as he had reportedly admitted he would love to get together with the Australian pop star.

He said: "She's gorgeous and she's got my number if she wants to get together for a laugh."
