After a stunning transformation from frumpy to fabulous, two months later it appeared that former EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy was struggling to maintain her amazing weight loss.

But last night, it was clear as the 24-year-old showed off her svelte, toned figure in a little black dress on the red carpet, that she has indeed lost all the weight.

And it ended all speculation that her transformation owed more than a nod to digital enhancement.

The actress has lost two and a half stone, downsizing from a size 16 to 10 after leaving the soap set in fictional Albert Square.

And she looked ultra-slim in a one-shouldered monochrome dress at the premiere for Scarlett Johansson's new film The Other Boleyn Girl in London's Leicester Square.

Her body makeover has not only changed her life, but also given her a new career - her Then & Now fitness DVD has become one of the fastest-selling workout videos of all time.

It's black and white: Despite the frosty temperatures, Natalie chose a monochrome one-shouldered minidress to showcase her size 10 figure at the premiere for Scarlet Johansson film The Other Boleyn Girl last night

Last month, the actress was seen looking somewhat fuller-figured in a duffel coat over a tartan mini-skirt and green cardigan, despite her dramatic weight loss fuelling speculation that she was regaining the weight.

"Natalie was wrapped up against the cold but there was no disguising the fact she seems a little chunkier," said an onlooker.

Since then, she has clearly been making good use of her fitness video and booked in extra sessions with her personal trainer.

The star, who played dowdy Sonia Jackson in long-running BBC One soap EastEnders, recently revealed her motivation for losing weight.

Natalie said: "I'd try to persuade the director I needed bulky clothes on even inside as I didn't want to show my body.

"I then understood how much it was affecting me."

She added: "Since I left EastEnders, I've had more time to look after myself and pay attention to diets."

But Natalie still looks great and is definitely far slimmer than she was in her EastEnders days.

Natalie's fitness DVD sailed to the top of the official workout video charts - beating off competition from Davina McCall, Rosemary Conley and Strictly Come Dancing stars, Karen Hardy and Erin Boag.

Indeed, so popular has it proven, stores nationwide have been forced to restock their supplies several times.
