Arms aloft and wearing a beautiful silk dress, the 40-year-old actress gave a glimpse of her protruding tummy to an audience of film enthusiasts in Tokyo, Japan.
She travelled to Asia for the latest round of promotional appearances of her upcoming film The Golden Compass, based on Philip Pullman's trilogy of children's novels.

The news was first reported by The Daily Mail.
Nicole - who adopted two children with her first husband Tom Cruise - married country singer Urban in June 2006.
She is almost four months' pregnant.
