The gangly Geordie, who has often boasted of marathon bouts of tantric sex sessions with wife Trudi Styler, a human rights campaigner, was dressed like a teenager as he larked about on the river.

The baseball-capped and bermuda short-clad superstar has been enjoying time off following a money-making Police reunion tour last year.

After performing 54 gigs along with former band mates Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland, the group cashed in an estimated £66.5million.

With a few quid to spare, the Roxanne singer treated his family to a Christmas holiday in Australia on board a yacht rumoured to cost nearly £17,000 a day.
