Has Kate Garraway piled on the pounds after returning to GMTV sofa?
Last updated at 10:29am on 28.02.08After dropping two dress sizes during training for reality show Strictly Come Dancing, Kate Garraway's return to the GMTV sofa appears to have coincided with a growth in the blonde presenter's girth.
Kate was seen leaving work recently looking somewhat rounder than she has for some time.
Her participation in Strictly Come Dancing involved hours of energetic dance training, which is in stark contrast to her day job which is far less athletic.

Larger than life: Kate cuts a happy but plump figure as she leaves GMTV's studios in London last Friday
And as a result of the daily dance workouts she dropped from a size 12 to a trim size 8-10.
However, following her exit from the show last year fitness is again low on the agenda.
Kate said at the time: "I'm now an 8-10 rather than a 12. My muscles are unbelievably toned and taut. I don't think my bottom has ever been so trim.
"Maybe that come from six weeks of being told to dance like a hooker!"

Now and then: A fuller Kate, left, last Friday, has piled on the pounds compared to last year's Strictly Come Dancing heyday
She also admitted that she had low fitness levels before training started, to add to the lack of dance experience, which suggests she no lover of a daily gym workouts.
But with a full seven-hour day at work, starting at 2.30am when she leaves home to present from the GMTV sofa, and 18-month-old daughter Darcey, maybe a two-hour workout is not high on her list of priorities.

She even planned to seduce him by wearing nothing more than a fur coat.
She said: "I saw a film once. This woman went to meet her lover in a delicatessen at midnight wearing just a fur coat – nothing underneath," she confided.
"I thought it was unbelievably sexy. I'd love to do something like that."

No wonder young women are obsessed with their weight in this country with media reports like this. A size 12 is not plump, it's healthy.

What on earth are they talking about? She looks gorgeous and healthy. She was extremely unwell after the birth of her daughter with thyroid problems which made her lose a lot of weight but now she looks really lovely, healthy, gorgeous, etc. If that is "plump" then I'd happily be so.

She looks super - it's winter, she's wearing at the least a jumper, jacket, scarf. Carry on Kate - you look great.

Perhaps she should consider some diy or building work to keep trim? An extension to the upper part of her house would be the ticket, but don't forget that planning permission.

It's simply an unflattering top. She has clearly not 'piled on the pounds'.

She has not piled on the pounds as you put it she is a pretty slim attractive woman by anyone's standards, you ought not to be encouraging these kinds of comments when there are so many women with issues about their weight and who have eating disorders!

Ridiculous! She looks great - leave her alone!

How can you say that she looks plump in that first photo, she looks quite good to me. You will be moaning in a couple of weeks time about size zero models again.
