Model Poppy Delevigne has split from her boyfriend after moving to New York
Following my revelation that Flee Brudenell-Bruce has split from British Grand Prix driver Jenson Button, there is news of another socialite back on the singles scene.
Model and girl-about-town Poppy Delevigne quit London for New York last month in her quest to become an actress.
But while the pretty 21-year-old, left - who is staying at the Duchess of York's plush Upper East Side apartment - has secured a top agent and a handful of lucrative modelling contracts, the move has cost her dearly and she has split from her boyfriend Dan Philipson.
A pal explained: "Poppy flew home once to see Dan and he has been over to see her.
"But they both realised a transatlantic romance was going to be hard to keep up."
When I caught up with Poppy at the Astley Clarke jewellery launch at the Connaught Hotel last week she told me tearfully: "It's only just happened so I don't want to talk about it yet."
