Amid growing speculation that she has rekindled her romance with ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson looked a picture of happiness as she frolicked around the pool at the exclusive Raleigh Hotel in Miami yesterday.

The star has looked increasingly radiant in recent days - her glow could be in part due to the fact that her former lover Wilson is also in the city which is playing host to a film festival.

Itsy-bitsy: Kate Hudson showed off her figure in a red bikini at the Raleigh Hotel yesterday

Hudson and Wilson are reportedly dating again, seven months after the actor tried to commit suicide.

A day earlier, dressed in a tank-top over a bikini and Grecian sandals, a carefree Kate, 28, beamed as she enjoyed the Miami sunshine, with a less than A-list mode of transport.

Wilson has also been seen out and about, jogging on the beach.

And he is reported to be staying in the hotel next door to girlfriend Kate.

Kate attended a festival screening of her directorial debut "Cutlass" a film short at the Regal South Beach.

But it appears the assembled media may have been more interested in her personal life than the 13-minute movie they had been invited to preview.

Kate apparently got so upset when photographers took her picture that she had them all kicked out and threaten to have them all arrested if they did not leave the premises.

That's one way to ensure mass publicity. And not necessarily the positive kind.

Hudson and Wilson have been joined by pals Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore who are also in town for the annual film junket.

The couple's reconciliation has come after the star's recovery from an attempted suicide.

He was said to be so upset over his split from her, that he slashed his wrists and took a combination of pills and had to be rushed to hospital.

While Wilson, 39, was recovering, his friends and family were believed to have kept Hudson from visiting.

Last week they were spotted together again for the first time, and friends confirmed they are trying to rebuild their relationship. "They are hooking up," a source told America's Us Weekly. Another insider said: "They have definitely been talking, hanging out and, yes, hooking up."

The You, Me and Dupree co-stars dated for a year, with Wilson visiting her on the Australian set of her new film, Fool's Gold, before she ended the relationship, allegedly because he gave partying priority over her.

A week ago they were spotted together twice, spending time at each other's homes, and he was seen driving away from her house in the Los Angles Pacific Palisades area in the silver Toyota Prius.

The pair were also seen at Madonna's exclusive post-Oscar party, where they were spotted flirting.

"There was lots of arm touching, giggling," a witness told People magazine. "They were having lots of fun."

Another onlooker said: "They were all over each other."

A friend added: "They are at a good place with each other."
