It's the kind of thing that could have happened to Bridget Jones. And in what is every girl's worst nightmare, actress Renee Zellweger was left hobbling after she snapped one of her precious heels while filming in Miami.

The slimline actress' embarrassing mishap happened on the set of her new latest film 'Chilled In Miami' which is being shot being shot in the sun drenched party city.

Actress Renee was wearing a gorgeous pair of shiny pink patent sandals, when the heel gave way underneath.

Even though uber-slim Renee, 38, has clearly lost all the weight she famously piled on to play the fictional British heroine, it's clear she hasn't lost some of her haphazard sensibilities.

The Bridget Jones star sports new shoulder-length hair extensions as she filmed the romantic comedy which stars jazz singer Harry Connick Jr.

She plays a high-powered consultant in love with her upscale Miami lifestyle, attempting to adjust to her new life in a tiny Minnesota town after being sent to oversee the restructuring of a factory.

The locals typically give her a frosty reception.

And when she is ordered to shut down the manufacturing plant, the factory's union man (Harry Connick, Jr.) fights to protect his co-worker's jobs.

It's not the first time Renee has run into trouble because of her shoes.

At last month's Oscar ceremony she was seen walking around backstage after presenting an award with her silver Christian Louboutins slung over her shoulder.

When Actor Johnny Depp said "I like your shoes", she replied: "Thanks man...I used to like the shoes!"
