Katie Holmes hasn't made a fashion mis-step of late, but she's come a cropper with this monochrome look which looks somewhat familiar.

Unfortunately her loose white tunic ensemble looks surprisingly similar to the outfit worn by sad clown Pierrot, leaving budding fashionista Katie looking somewhat comical.

If as is rumoured, the Hollywood star, 29, has been taking fashion tips from friend Victoria Beckham, she may want to ignore her in future.

As this is one outfit that definitely should be consigned to the 'not for over 18's' bin.

However, she did redeem herself in another photo which showed the wife of Tom Cruise, and mother of 23-month-old Suri in typically glamorous mode, during the shoot for magazine In Style.

In an interview accompanying the fashion spread Katie said of meeting husband Cruise: "It happened in an instant.

She gushed: "When you fall in love, it's like time stops. I try every day to make him know how much I love him."

And on having more children, she said: "I'd love to. But I'm in no particular rush."

Meanwhile, Suri is set to be the coolest kid in town - as parents Tom and Katie have asked Grammy and Brit awardwinning producer Mark Ronson to DJ at her 2nd birthday party.

Mark was the official DJ at Tom and Katie's Italian wedding reception in 2006, and his parents were so impressed with his skills, they've booked him in for Suri's birthday bonanza on 18 April.
