Sultry in sequins: Holly looks just like Toon sex symbol Jessica Rabbit

Updated 21:30pm on 11 Mar 2008

It's another week and another plunging neck line for controversial Dancing on Ice presenter Holly Willoughby.

Clad in a daring, curve-hugging scarlet gown, the glamorous star, who is becoming famous for her revealing style of dress, resembled racy cartoon character Jessica Rabbit.

The bejewelled garb hinted that Holly is not going to change her sartorial taste amid complaints from ITV viewers about her generous cleavage.

Backless apart from a slim sash of material, the former underwear model's 32D figure was enviable but may attract more criticism from the celebrity ice-skating competition's fans.

Despite a public backlash, Holly claimed she cannot understand what all the fuss is about.

During an appearance on Loose Women last week, she said: "It's just the weirdest thing that has ever happened. It's like I'm living in someone else's world."

The reaction to the 27-year-old penchant for a plunging neckline has varied.

After last Sunday's show, one viewer, writing on a TV messageboard, said: "Why doesn't Holly Willoughby stop messing around and just do the show topless?"

Another wrote: "My husband and I have great fun trying to bet how low her top will be each week. She does struggle to keep them in, doesn't she?"

Meanwhile, pop star Gareth Gates described his Dancing On Ice experience as "fantastic" after becoming the latest celebrity to get the boot from the show.

The Bradford-born singer was unanimously voted off by the judges last night after finding himself in the semi-final skate-off with Coronation Street's Zaraah Abrahams.

Abrahams, Suzanne Shaw and Chris Fountain will now go through to next week's final.

I think it is far better for young girls to see the cleavage of a full figured woman like Holly than the sternum of a stick thin celeb. Really don't see the harm, if anything she is helping girls see that size 0 is far from sexy and it is better to be a 8 ,10 or 12. She is a fantastic role model for teenage girls in today's society.

Her dress isn't bad! We've all seen worser. Look at what Jordan wears? How about Mariah carey on the x factor. I think she should wear more outfits like that one.... People are just jealous, because she's got the perfect figure- the one that we all die for!

I think the person who thinks she looks stunning didn't see the rear end of her - not what I would call stunning.

She has an absolutely beautiful figure, and exactly what a woman's body should look like, with curves in all the right places, and not like the stick-thin, emaciated bodies some of our current celebrities have. She should be applauded for having a stunning figure. The vast majority of men prefer women like this to the super thin, muscly women who take exercise to the extreme and end up with bulging biceps. Holly looks beautiful.

It's hilarious that anyone who voluntarily spends their time watching reality programs with has-beens would complain about something like this. I guess it proves that some people aren't happy unless they can complain about something.

To be quite frank, she's too chunky for that material. Only good on size 10 or less, otherwise you can see fat through it, not good. Plus she dresses like a 40 year old presenting a strip show in Las Vegas. Not cool.

I can't believe the fuss this has generated. It's not as if she is parading around naked. People need to get a life and stop complaining or just switch channel.

She does look stunning, shame her hair looks a mess!

Tess Daly wore some far more revealing stuff on Strictly Come Dancing, how come there is a fuss now and not then? She looks amazing.

"Despite a public backlash"

What public backlash? I haven't heard anyone complain about her dresses or her figure, in fact everyone I've spoken to thinks she looks great, far better than the anorexic ones we normally see on the tv.

One word comes to mind STUNNING!

Leave her alone, she has an amazing figure, a wonderful personality, and a beautiful lady.

People are so jealous!
