Caught in the flashbulbs: Patsy Kensit flashes her charms in a transparent dress

Actress Patsy Kensit certainly knows how to make an entrance.

The Holby City star arrived at the Television and Radio Industries Club Awards held at Grosvenor House in London in a transparent dress which revealed rather too much information.

The former child star was clearly not wearing a bra underneath her clingy black sweater dress.

And after she removed her coat, the 40-year-old actress was caught in the glare of the assembled photographers flash bulbs, and ended up flashing something of her own.

Had she deigned to wear a bra, Patsy could have spared her blushes. But clearly, the mother-of-two felt she wasn't in any need of support.

Despite her fashion faux-pas, Patsy has claimed she's left her wild days behind her. But apparently, she still has a hint of the wild child about her.

In a recent interview, the ex-wife of Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher, and Simple Minds rocker Jim Kerr said she no longer spends her nights at raucous showbusiness parties but is asleep in bed by 9pm.

She said: "I'm not a gorgeous young thing in Girls Aloud. We're old. I just want a quiet life.

Best unsupported actress: The 40-year-old mother of two opted for a bra-less look for her appearance at the TRIC awards, which certainly got the photographers attention

"My lifestyle is very low-key and that's how I want it to continue. I'm asleep by nine o'clock most nights."

Patsy plays Faye Morton in the BBC1 medical drama Holby City, is engaged to DJ Jeremy Healy, 46, and has three divorces behind her.

She married Dan Donovan of the group Big Audio Dynamite in 1988. Four years later she married Jim Kerr of Simple Minds, producing her first child, James, now 15. Then in 1997 she married Gallagher.

They had a son, Lennon, but the marriage imploded after three-and-a-half-years, during which time Gallagher fathered a child with singer Lisa Moorish.

She has since healed the rift with Gallagher, the father of eight-year-old Lennon and says she gets on well with Gallagher and his girlfriend, All Saints singer Nicole Appleton.

Looks okay to me. I don't know what all the fuss is about.
