Action woman: Heavily pregnant Angelina Jolie takes to the skies
Last updated at 14:59pm on 12.03.08A fearless Angelina Jolie has clearly not left her action girl role behind her as the heavily pregnant star took to the skies in a light aircraft.
Just 24 hours after revealing a not inconsiderable bump, brave Angelina was seen climbing aboard a private plane at an airfield in Smallsville, Texas, which appeared to be just a tad on the small side.
The actress arrived alone in a black 4x4, and could then be seen standing on the wing of the plane, with the front seat pulled forward in readiness for her to sit in the back.

Fearless: Actress Angelina Jolie was seen in Texas yesterday climbing into the back of a light aircraft, which is no mean feat for the heavily pregnant star who is rumoured to be expecting twins
However, considering her tall frame, and the size of her growing baby bump, it's debatable how comfortable the 32-year-old actress would be in such a small space.
Angelina was accompanied by just a pilot, as neither partner Brad Pitt nor any of her four children accompanied her on the trip.
The Jolie-Pitt brood are currently living at a 270 acre ranch near the rural town of Smallsville while Brad is filming his latest movie The Tree of Life.
Angelina Jolie has so far stayed silent on the subject of her pregnancy, but her growing bump is apparent, despite the flowing garb she has taken to wearing of late.

The actress is reportedly expecting twins, with sources saying she and partner Brad Pitt are "absolutely ecstatic" at the prospect.
Angelina will join a list of Hollywood stars stars who have twins in recent times including Julia Roberts, Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross and Jennifer Lopez, who welcomed Max and Emme last month.
Twins will mean the Angelina and Brad will be parents to six children. The family currently consists of Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and biological daughter Shiloh, 1.
The couple's spokesperson has refused to comment on the pregnancy and have not made an official announcement.
