You might have seen tumbleweed on Oxford street this morning as Kate Moss' new Spring collection was launched at Topshop.

Perhaps it was the post St Patrick's Day hangover (or possibly the sudden drop in temperature) but not a soul was seen at the superstore at 6.30am.

Last May crowds snaked the streets through the night and into the early hours in eager anticipation of the supermodel's clothing range.

Just can't get enough: Crowds flock to the opening of supermodel's collection last May

Hundreds of eager shoppers queued at last year's summer launch - only being allowed to view the clothes in small groups and permitted to try eight items and buy five per person.

But party girl Kate, 34, seems to have been left on the “sale rail” by new models like Agyness Deyn.

Deyn recently toppled Kate Moss's lead in Tatler's best-dressed list as party planners clamour for her and Indie band boyfriend, Josh of The Paddingtons.

This is the fifth season for the Kate Moss range that has enjoyed moderate success in the high street store.

The Spring collection features a proliferation of floaty tea dresses inspired by Kate's own wardrobe.

There's also a Gypsy influence with tasselled waistcoats and embroidered shrugs.

The sexy ex of junkie Pete Doherty flew to Mexico to model the new range which also includes skinny jeans with flattering vertical stripes, hot-pants and a vintage style beaded black dress.

Meow! You're all just jealous, she's lovely!

- Al Stuart, Ealing

All looks pretty boring to me. Had to confirm it with having a look on the internet but there isn't anything new or different and you just know that it will be on the sale rack in the next few months.

- Kalstar, London

She looks rough and her stuff is too expensive for Top-Shop. Most girls walking down the street look better than she does now

Kate Moss is the leading name in skank chic.

- Nigel Moran, Purley

Kate looks like shes losing it a bit. Her appeal was her fresh look and now
she just looks like the girl down the road.
