Girls Aloud had an unlikely companion when they headed out in London last night - Nicola Roberts' pet pug Elvis.

As the rest of her band mates swanned into a private members club, Nicola was left wrangling with her mischievous accessory, whom she regularly refers to as her "little baby".

Inside the uber-trendy Hospital in Covent Garden, the red head and her canine companion eventually sorted themselves out to join Nadine Cole, Sarah Harding, Kimberly Walsh and Cheryl Cole to film a segment for T4.

It was the latest stop in a hectic schedule for the girls - and Elvis - which included an afternoon interview on The Paul O'Grady Show.

On Tuesday, the singers shot a glamorous television advert for a new low-calorie chocolate bar, Kit Kat Senses at the University of London.

Nadine Coyle is clearly back in Girls Aloud mode after her recent absence at the Brit Awards.

She has been subject to a flurry of rumours that she plans to leave the UK's most successful girl band, but has recently assured fans she has no intention of leaving the group or relocating to LA.

Girls' night out: Sarah Harding and Cheryl Cole arrive to film a segment for T4

The singer said: "I've heard all these things recently... things saying I'm leaving the band and quitting the UK for LA. That's just not true."

Nadine wrote on the Girls Aloud Myspace: "A few years ago I went to LA... Instantly I loved the weather so I kept going back on holidays.

"My family loved it too and... they have lived there since the beginning of last year. So I travel back and forth to see them in LA and be with the girls here."

The group are gearing up to begin a tour next month.

Nadine said: "I am so excited about the tour, you have no idea! It's the best time of the year and (it's) not long now."
