Last updated at 16:28pm on 21.03.08Tennis legend John McEnroe may have swapped his tennis racket for commentating duties - but he is clearly still match-fit as he showed off an enviable physique on the beach, at just shy of 50 years of age.
The former world number one hit the sandy beach at St Bart's just weeks after his 49th birthday and revealed a still trim physique, which wouldn't look out of place on the tennis court.

Still buff: Tennis legend John McEnroe has managed to maintain an enviable physique, despite no longer playing professional tennis. The star was seen yesterday holidaying on the Caribbean Island of St. Barts
McEnroe peeled off his shirt to reveal a super-flat stomach, before jumping into the water to bodysurf.
Amazingly, the tennis star was seen in a similar picture 14 years ago, looking just as trim, and since then he doesn't appear to have gained an inch of flab.
The former tennis pro is on holiday in the Caribbean island with his wife, Patty Smyth, and one of his daughters.
He may have been famous for his temper on the court, but on holiday he was the perfect family man.

An onlooker said: "He looked very happy and relaxed. He was very caring with his wife and daughter, he was really looking after them and enjoying their company."
The family, along with some friends, were enjoying an afternoon dip at Saline beach, one of the island's most famous beaches.
It is also known for having nudists - but thankfully McEnroe kept his surfer-style shorts on.
