Sir Paul McCartney is whisking his four-year-old daughter Beatrice abroad for a sunshine holiday after finally settling his divorce battle with Heather Mills.

A source said: "Paul will have Bea this Easter holiday. They are going on a lovely overseas break and Paul is really looking forward to it. He has always tried to keep Bea out of the spotlight and spend as much time with her as possible.

"The holiday could not have come at a better time. His head is clear, and he's finally got the past year behind him. Heather will have Bea next week."

Doting dad: Sir Paul with his daughter Beatrice in 2006

Forgiving his estranged wife for what many believed was a vengeful attempt to win a £125m divorce settlement, the 65-year-old reportedly told friends he wants to maintain a “close and cordial" relationship with Miss Mills for the sake of their daughter.

Sir Paul reportedly confided that he will do all he can to make sure they stay friends.

Earlier this week, Miss Mills walked away with a divorce settlement of £24.3million.

Criticised: Sir Paul's ex-wife and Bea's mother Heather Mills at London's High Court on Monday

She was condemned as an “inconsistent, inaccurate" witness by Mr Justice Bennett because of the claims she made.

Miss Mills re-launched her website this week, posting messages of support from Hilary Clinton and Sir Richard Branson.

But it emerged that Mrs Clinton's message was made in 2002 and Sir Richard Branson's may have been made as long ago as 1998.

If I were Hillary Clinton or Sir Richard Branson I would make her remove
those because I doubt they feel the same way now since these are
years old.

I just visited the Heather Mills website and I was so very disappointed that there isn't a link to where you could be able to add support or criticism to her actions, after all, she made the choice of being public property with her actions and speeches in TV and public. As you mentioned in your article it is very distasteful that she added the old comments from people like Branson and Clinton, made many years ago, it would be nice to see some real recent comments on her website. On the other hand what a narcissist in having all those modelling pictures that have nothing to do with charity whatsoever, I was sick about that.

Anyway I hope we don’t hear soon that she has wasted all the money she was granted on some stupid extravagances similar to the ones listed on her demands to the Court.
