Since I've become pregnant my main focus is on giving my baby the best start in life. That means giving up certain things. If someone can't give up alcohol for 9 months then I would suggest that perhaps they are too selfish to have children in the first place. Your life changes, fact, so some small sacrifices for the sake of your child are worth it. A small risk is still a risk and surely it is always better to er on the side of caution in this case. Whatever you think of Kerry (and I don't think she adds a great deal to society) its plain to see that her actions are purely motivated by what she wants to do, rather than perhaps what's best for her child.
