Transporting her three horses from a riding event in Norfolk, Zara appeared unfazed by the size of the enormous vehicle on the country lanes

She has had her HGV licence for just under a year since she took her test last May so she could drive her horses to and from events.

The 26-year-old show jumper said at the time : "I can now drive trucks up to 7,500kg. They're great until you get road rage because you can't overtake."

She added: "The braking time is totally different to a car."

Yesterday an onlooker said: "It's a massive vehicle, and it looked like she was driving three horses and at least two grooms.

"But she looked very comfortable behind the wheel - very cool and in control."

It is believed Zara was on her way to the Gloucestershire home she shares with England rugby player Mike Tindall, who now that he is facing a driving ban, may come to rely on Zara for transport.
