Britney Spears' 16-year-old pregnant sister Jamie Lynn showed off her sparkling new ring yesterday following news of her engagement last week.

The Zoey 101 star kept her buddy baby bump under wraps in an oversized top and jogging shorts while on a shopping trip in her home town of Kentwood, Louisiana.

Her boyfriend Casey Aldridge, 19, proposed to the actress last week, three months after she revealed she was expecting.

His cousin, Tina Robinson, told American magazine Us Weekly: "They probably weren't expecting [the proposal] to be, like, right now, but with her being pregnant, that really pushed it up."
