The groom wore white, the bride wore pink - and those of a sensitive disposition averted their eyes.

Ivana Trump's fourth wedding was never going to be a day for shy and retiring types and the £1million ceremony lived up - or down - to expectations.

The groom, a 35-year-old jobbing actor called Rossano Rubicondi, arrived to the Rocky theme and was joined by 25 male supporters - or groomsmen as they are known in the U.S. - all dressed in white.

Not to be outdone, his 59-year-old bride wore a pink and white crystal-studded gown as she walked up the aisle to Il Divo's version of Unchained Melody.

And to keep the numbers even, she had 25 bridesmaids decked out in pastel colours on her side of the 15ft arch of orchids and roses where the couple exchanged their vows.

All in all, it was quite a crowd at the Mar-A-Lago private beach club on Florida's Palm Beach.

Ex-husband-Donald Trump, who owns the venue, was there and his sister, Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, conducted the ceremony.

As helicopters buzzed overhead, the bride was given away by her sons Donald Jr, 30, and Eric, 24, with daughter Ivanka, 26, as maid of honour.

And a 25-piece orchestra - flown in from Paris - serenaded the couple and more than 500 guests including Brigitte Nielsen, George Hamilton and Natalie Cole.
