Kate Moss continues her Highland fling with Jamie...and meets some fans of her own

Updated 11:59am on 17 Apr 2008

Kate Moss continues her Highland fling as she and rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince arrived in Glasgow for the next stop on his band's tour.

Doubling up as a something of a mini-break - yesterday they were in Edinburgh - the couple were greeted by the concierge at the hotel as they checked in.

The couple, who had been apart for two weeks were reunited on Kate's return from a family holiday in Los Angeles.

Later Kate, dressed in denim hotpants, high-heeled boots and her trademark tuxedo jacket Kate emerged to attend the gig, with thoughtful boyfriend Jamie following with her oversized Hermes Birkin bag in tow.

Jamie is in Scotland on a tour with his band The Kills, but the supermodel met a few fans of her own.

Yesterday it was revealed Kate snubbed her nanny's birthday bash to join Jamie on tour. She was due to be at the party in Shoreditch House, but left everyone upset when Jamie insisted she join him on the road.

After he picked her up from the airport, the couple spent the afternoon mooching - and smooching - around Edinburgh, eating at the Witchery restaurant and then booking into the Hotel du Vin.

Moss had been expected to attend a joint birthday party for nanny Jade Davidson, who helps look after Kate's five-year-old daughter Lila Grace, and Jade's sister Holly.

Jade turned 23 on 6 April and Holly 27, on 26 April, and Kate had a big hand in organising their celebration.

Her friends Sadie Frost, Kristian Marr and Fran Cutler turned up, but Kate chose to support 39-year-old Jamie instead.

On Tuesday he played the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh with his band The Kills, but they had to put their five-star lifestyle on hold when they left the venue.

The couple tried to sneak out via the back door, but found themselves slap outside a rowdy Irish bar, where punters were bewildered by the throng of photographers.

With her regular driver 400 miles away and taxis notoriously difficult to find in Edinburgh, a bouncer led Kate and Jamie through the crowd and helped them into his Citroen — hardly the car of choice for a supermodel.

To add insult to injury it only had two doors, so they had to tip the front seats forward to clamber rather inelegantly into the back.
